HG-20 Rare Model 1934 Army Infantry “Other
Ranks” Overseas Cap
This cool cap is produced in field grey wool that is near excellent
with very minor wear and discoloration. There is some very, very minor tracking
as well. There is a single ventilation grommet on each side. The skirt is
stitched to the body in the front. This example has faux buttons, each is field
grey finished pebbled metal. There is a white soutache as well, indicating use
by Infantry personnel. Attached over the soutache is a metal cockade with a red
felt bull’s eye. The interior is fully lined in brownish-green, ribbed cloth
which has minor discoloration only. There is an ink stamp from the manufacturer,
Uniform-Fabrik Kaspar Greb of Würzburg. It is ink stamped with the size of 55
as well as the year of production, which reads “M 34”. A super desirable
cap!
