This one has a lot going for it, including being the best model (Privat)
offered by the most prestigious maker (EREL). The fine doeskin body, with red
piping for Artillery personnel, is slightly misshapen and shows light wear and
soiling. Overall, it’s still a strong very good and has matching and original
zinc insignia. The cockade has the screened center only available from Robert
Lubstein. The patent leather visor and chinstrap are sound and tight. The size
58 ˝ liner (marked in pencil and tucked out of sight) is the green rayon
associated with this model. The rhomboid moisture shield is intact and the liner
has some water stains. The special patented EREL marked brown sweatband is fine.
