HG-63 Luftwaffe Crew Member's Leather Flying
Helmet
This is a sound example of the brown leather helmet worn by crew
members of Bomber Crews that did not need the avionics. This style helmet
does not have the hard leather cups or the throat microphones. The
condition of the leather is near excellent and supple, with only minor scuffs.
The straps are intact and the buckles show only light wear. The
approximate size 57 light brown fleece lining has some light red stains and
soiling, but is overall sound. It has a nice rayon maker's label (STRIEGEL
& WAGNER). Moderately priced.
