What a great item we have to offer you here! The factory applied,
smooth apple green parade green finish remains approximately 75% intact. The
nicely toned Quist rune decal has a few scratches but remains a solid 92%
intact! On the opposite side, the party decal is decent, it is a bit faded with
approximately 85% remaining intact. The interior displays exactly as one would
expect, with a dark brown leather liner that is sound but has some
discoloration. There is a vintage replacement drawstring drawn closely to better
fit the owner’s head and a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked
and dated, 1937. The owner also wrote his initials on the liner in ink
(“MW”). The shell is stamped on the side of the interior, Q 62, and at the
rear of the skirt with the production number, which is 333. A small section of
the original black leather chinstrap is present as well. Overall a solid,
textbook example of a scarce and desirable helmet! A MAX Show 2009 purchase!
