Model 1916 German Army Helmet in Choice Condition
You just don't find them in this shape anymore! The smooth
textured green paint is a conservative 95%. You have to look hard to see
any finish missing! The interior is also clean as a whistle. It has
the steel linerband. All three pads (the choice, white leather type) are
intact and retain their cushions. No drawstring is present, but all of the
eyelets except one are perfectly intact. The interior of the dome is
stamped with the number “R 1841” and the side of the interior of the shell
is stamped ET 66 for the maker and shell size (big). You would be on the
hunt for a long time to find a better example!
