H-204 Choice Model 1916 Camouflage Helmet
This one is a real looker! Brushed over the original apple green finish is a
combination of dark red, white, black, green and yellow for camouflage purposes,
this application remains nearly 95% intact and packs a serious visual impact!
The interior, which retains the apple green finish, has a Model 1916 three-pad
leather liner with leather linerband. This has separated at the seam (where the
threads are) so is a bit loose inside the shell. There is a drawstring present.
The side of the interior is stamped “G.B.N. 64”. There is also a brown
leather chinstrap with metal fittings that looks to be original to the helmet.
About as choice an example as you will ever find! The best example of this style
I’ve ever owned.
