H-208 Museum-Quality Model 1918 “Droop Bill” Helmet
Words like “choice” and “mint” don’t really do this example justice,
just look at the pictures and see for yourself what an incredible helmet this
is! Save for two small areas (the quarter sized one on the left rear of the dome
has a dent as well), the smoothly-applied dark feldgrau finish is perfect. The
interior is absolutely as new, with a brown leather liner and linerband that is
riveted in place (not split pins). There is a drawstring and a slightly worn
brown leather chinstrap as well! The right side (as worn) of the shell is
stamped “D.R.” (I cannot read the rest) and “ang”. It appears to be
approximately a size 64. An absolute gem, worthy of a spot on the top shelf of
any collection! Impossible to upgrade!
