H-220 Early Model 1935 Luftwaffe Double Decal
Helmet
This sound example retains a solid 90% of its original parade smooth
Luftwaffe blue/grey finish. The first pattern drooptail adler is decent,
remaining 85% intact. On the other side, the tri-color shield checks in at 80%.
The brown leather liner is sound, having darkened with age, but remains soft and
supple. The non-reinforced aluminum liner band is manufacturer marked and dated
1937. The shell is lightly stamped on the side of the interior ET 6 (can’t
read the last number, but it is a size 64 shell). The rear of the skirt is
stamped (lightly, once again) with the production run number of “2934”. The
chinstrap nicely matches the color of the liner, it is an excellent, maker
marked example with an aluminum buckle. A sound plus example overall!
