H-221 Excellent Model 1935 Luftwaffe Double Decal

This beauty retains an amazing 95% of its original smoothly applied blue/grey
finish! The Luftwaffe decal on the left is mostly complete, checking in at over
90%, while the tri-color shield is literally 99% intact. Both of the decals were
neatly shellacked to protect them (not positive when this was done). The
interior is in fantastic condition, showing light wear and discoloration only
from use. It is a large size 61 liner (stamped) and includes a drawstring along
with a non-reinforced zinc linerband that is maker marked and dated 1940. The
side of the interior is stamped “SE 68”, indicating production by Sachsische
Emaillerwerke of Lauter in the size of 68. The rear of the skirt is stamped with
the steel lot number of “4736”. There is an excellent leather chinstrap
which is maker marked and has aluminum fittings as well. Nearly impossible to
upgrade!
