H-225 Model 1940 Luftwaffe Single Decal Helmet
This great example retains nearly 95% of its originally applied rough
texture Luftwaffe blue/grey finish. The Luftwaffe decal is excellent too,
remaining a solid 95% intact. The size marked 59 brown leather liner is very
soft and supple, there is moderate scuffing around the lower edge and a small
amount of discoloration. There is a drawstring and a non-reinforced zinc
linerband. The side of the interior is stamped Q 66, indicating production
by F.W. Quist of Esslingen in the size of 66. The rear of the skirt is stamped
with the steel lot number of DN 259. A fine example overall!
