H-232 Choice Model 1940 Luftwaffe Combat Helmet
This helmet comes as close to unissued as I get them. The rough
textured blue/grey Luftwaffe type paint is at least 98%. The size 59 stamped
liner looks unworn and the pebbled textured brown leather is in full excellent
condition. It does have its original drawstring. The size and maker stamp is
located in the rear of the skirt, indicating a late-war production piece.
I can make out the 66 shell size I can make out the 66 shell size and
thanks to Ken N. we now know this helmet was made by Quist even though we
couldn't make out the marking. If you like choice,
this helmet deserves consideration.
