H-239a Excellent Model 1942 Luftwaffe Single Decal

This one really stands out! It appears to be unissued, with just
storage and age wear to its Luftwaffe blue/grey finish. There is some wear to
the finish around the lower skirt, which has resulted in there being some minor
surface rust. The rough texture is still mostly intact. The Luftwaffe decal is
excellent, remaining 98% intact. The interior is like new, with a beautiful
light brown leather liner that is size marked 58. It has a drawstring and a
non-reinforced zinc linerband that is as tight as a drum. The side of the
interior is stamped ET 66, indicating this was produced by Eisenhuttenwerke in
Thale in the size of 66. The rear of the skirt is stamped with the steel lot
number of 1537 indicating this was produced some time in 1942. There is a very
nice black leather chinstrap that is maker marked and dated 1941. An excellent
example!
