H-248 Model 1916 Double Decal Austrian
Transitional Army Helmet
Very sound textbook example with more than 95% of the smooth textured
light green paint. The Army decal has some nicks but still a conservative 80%
intact. The tri-color shield is 99% present! The size stamped 59 liner is
missing the drawstring but is in excellent condition with a reinforced aluminum
linerband. The original interior lugs for the Model 1916 Austrian configuration
are still present. The side of the interior of the shell is stamped BGB 66 for
the firm of Brüder Gottlieb u. Brauchbar Brünn. This helmet is equipped with a
super clean black leather chinstrap.
