H-258a  Model 1935 Army Double Decal Helmet
This example sports its original apple green parade finish, which remains approximately 85% intact. Both the tri-color shield and the lightly toned Army decal remain an amazing 99% intact. Interesting, as this is an ET-produced helmet with a Pocher decal. After conferring with many of our colleagues regarding this and having the helmet thoroughly tested by the XRFacts team, we are 100% confident that this is an interested variant. The interior has an excellent brown leather liner that has just minor wear and discoloration from use. It is size stamped 58 and the owner wrote his initials (“W.S.”). There is a drawstring and a reinforced aluminum linerband that is maker marked, dated 1938 and size stamped 58. The side of the interior is marked “ET 66”, indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke in Thale in the size of 66. The rear of the skirt is stamped with the steel lot number of “3974”, which indicates that the shell was produced some time in 1938. A very sound example, backed with an XRFacts certificate and our written lifetime money-back guarantee.
