H-266 Model 1940 Single Decal Army Combat Helmet
Sharp example with 95% of the semi-rough textured paint remaining.
The incredible Army decal is 98% present. The size stamped 56 liner with
its original drawstring is near excellent with no tears or repairs. There is
some fraying and a few dark spots around the edges of the leather, but this does
not detract from the clean tan look of the liner. The side of the interior
of the shell is marked EF 64 (Emaillirwerke A.G Fulda). This maker is much
less encountered than some. The untouched example is complete with an
appropriate vintage, marked and dated 1940 black leather chinstrap.
