H-274 Model 1942 Wehrmacht Combat Helmet
This example has a dark green combat finish which remains an honest
85% intact. There is some minor surface contamination, but this still displays
well! The interior shows some moderate wear from use, with discoloration and
scuffing to the size 57 brown leather liner. There is a drawstring and a
non-reinforced zinc linerband that is maker, size and date (1943) stamped. The
rear of the skirt is stamped “EF 64”, indicating production by Emaillerwerke
of Fulda in the size of 64. Also seen is the steel lot number 4231. The original
late-war (thin leather) chinstrap is included and complete, but fragile! A sound
combat helmet!
