H-274b Excellent Wehrmacht Model 1942 Combat
Helmet
This great helmet retains nearly all of its rough texture, dark green
combat finish. There are a few scuffs and some minor discoloration only. The
interior is near excellent as well, with a super clean brown leather liner that
has a name written onto it. One of the tongues is ripped and the
drawstring/chinstrap has been replaced with a brown shoelace. The non-reinforced
zinc linerband is size marked 66 and dated 1944. The rear of the skirt is
stamped “hkp 66” and “5588”, indicating this was produced by Sachsische
Emailler in the size of 66 sometime in 1944. An excellent helmet for your combat
mannequin!
