H-300 Choice Model 1940 Double Decal Water Police

If you have been holding off and waiting for the right “choice”
example of this type helmet, your wait is over. This gem has 98% of a
smooth textured darker green paint. The deep gold bordered Police eagle checks
in at a very respectable 95% and the party shield tips the scales at a
conservative 95%. The size stamped 56 liner has the original drawstring and
rates near excellent with only minor scuffing around the edges. There is a
circle of light surface rust in the dome but this is hardly a detraction. The
side of the interior of the shell is lightly stamped SE 64. The interior, except
where noted, is in exceptional condition. The early vintage black leather
chinstrap is very dry. However, it is nicely marked and dated 1940. You'll wear
out a few pair of shoes looking for a better example.
