H-337 WWII Italian San Marcos Regiment Helmet
This helmet was reissued as a San Marcos Regiment (Italian Marines)
and given a pale green finish, which remains 85% intact with minor blemishes.
There is a stenciled gold anchor at the front which is nearly fully intact. The
brown leather, eight pad liner shows some wear and discoloration but is still
sound. There is green overspray from when the helmet was (hastily and quickly,
no doubt) reissued. There is a drawstring which has overspray on it as well.
There is a wide leather chinstrap with a metal roller buckle that is soft and
supple. This has overspray on it, too. An interesting helmet in sound condition!
