U-067 Spectacular Uniform Set for Police

I can honestly state that this is the only set I have ever
encountered in my nearly 50 years of collecting! Even pictorial evidence of
these Armored Units is limited. But here it is, and everything about it is 100%
guaranteed original! The black wool material has some wear and soiling and the
nap is worn. However there is no visible damage to the exterior. The slip-on
shoulder boards are silver with green piping along with one gold pip, for the
rank of 1st Lieutenant. The Officer’s collar tabs with green background are
machine applied and match well with the green piped collar. Then, we have the
most spectacular silver hand embroidered Officer’s sleeve eagle on black
piping that your eyes could ever imagine! This is very nicely hand applied and
original to the piece. There is one set of badge loops. The black bakelite
buttons are all in place and you can even see wear on some of them (which is
really cool!). The interior of this approximate size 42 tunic is a greyish
rayon. It has the size markings in black ink and above that is the RBnr
contract number (you wonder how many of them they were contracted to make!?).
Under the numbers is F349, and I have no idea what that means! The interior has
one vertical pocket and one horizontal pocket. The Trousers are an absolute
match in terms of material and wear. The two front pockets are at a sharp
vertical angle. They have a scalloped flap with a single button closure. This,
and all the black painted metal buttons on the pockets, are marked “solide
elegant”. The front also has a watch pocket. It is missing the cloth belt but
has the slots where this would have gone. The back also has two horizontal
pockets with scalloped flaps and single button closures. The white cloth lining
on the interior is size marked, looks like it would be up to a size 34 waist and
also has the F349 stamping. The legs taper at the ankle and have the one button
closure and grey ribbed cloth tie tapes. I’ll let the photos do the rest of
the talking on this mega set…I consider this to be at least 10 times rarer
than a SS Panzer wrapper set!!
