U-141 Two-Piece
Winter Snow Jacket and Pants
Made for wear over a uniform for camouflage purposes with
no intent to warm – the jacket and trousers are made from a single layer of
white, ribbed cotton/ twill (fairly heavy weight fabric), and the sizing is
essentially “jumbo” so that the pieces will fit over almost any uniform
combination. The hooded top has a button front closure; all three matte white
painted buttons are present, these being secured on the interior by metal
“O” rings through the shank rings. The hood mounts directly to the collar
(so there’s no provision for a drawstring). The jacket is lightly soiled, but
still fairly white, and overall is in outstanding condition! The trousers are
made of a slightly thinner white cotton material – it has more of a linen like
feel (definitely not the same corded twill), similar to medical scrubs. There is
a drawstring tie cord at the waist (great condition), and each leg bottom is
equipped with drawstrings as well – all in fine condition (no wear, no
tear-shortened strings). There is light soiling to the trousers, but nothing of
any real significance. The bottom of one leg has a black ink-stamped name
partially legible (maker, perhaps…). All together a very nice winter camouflage
set!
