U-229 Black Political Breeches
These breeches are produced in black wool that remains very clean,
showing only light signs of tracking. There is a four-button (black Bakelite)
fly with a hook and loop fastener at the waist. There are slash type hip
pockets, a watch pocket on the right side (with the metal ring just above) and a
rear pocket. The lower legs have five button closures. There is a cinch strap on
the rear, complete with the buckle. There are black metal buttons about the
waist for the suspenders. The interior uses striped grey rayon for the waist
reinforcement; there is a large stamp with sizes and the maker name in purple
ink (they are a size 30). The pocket bags are produced in an off-white
heavy-duty cloth. A near excellent set!
