U-229a Black Political Type Breeches
These breeches are produced in black wool that remains very clean,
showing only light signs of wear and discoloration. There is a four-button
(black Bakelite) fly with a hook and loop fastener at the waist. There are slash
type hip pockets and a single rear pocket with a buttoned flap. The lower legs
have six button closures. There are black Bakelite buttons about the waist for
the suspenders. The waist reinforcement and pocket bags are produced in an
off-white heavy-duty cloth. There is a name written on the waist reinforcement,
“H. Martin”. These are fairly large, with a size 36 waist. A near excellent
