Third Reich German Forestry Officials Tunic-This handsome tunic is produced in very soft green wool. There is wear, discoloration and a few holes with some missing material eaten away at the lower edges. There is a four-button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal The collar is dark green velvet with silver bullion twist rope at the front and lower edges. There are French cuffs. There are four pockets with scalloped flaps. The breast pockets are pleated and the waist pockets are internal. The collar tabs are green velvet with silver bullion twist rope piping. Each has a oak leaf sprigs and leaves. The sew in shoulder boards are silver flat wire over green velvet and each has a single pip. This is for the rank of revierförster or area ranger, equivalent to the military rank of 2st Lieutenant. The interior is fully lined in green rayon that is in fine condition. There are pockets on both sides. The tunic is a medium size. Overall ok condition!
