Third Reich SS Great Coat for Munich Foot Regiment Private-This is for an SS Mann which is equivalent to a private. It is produced in black wool that is in fine condition. FYI IMPORTANT….all insignia is ORIGIANL but REAPPLIED to this coat. It was done in a very professional and correct manner and looks great. This includes the black badge cloth collar tabs, which have a black cloth/silver flat wire twist rope piping and a silver bullion “1” on the right side. This indicates foot regiment 1 of Munich. The rank side is blank. The front and lower edge of the collar is also piped. Also included is the single sew in shoulder strap on the right side. This is also black cloth with silver flat wire sewn in. This is over a black badge cloth overlay with a silver button. The arm band is a fantastic red wool example with ribbed white disc and multi piece swastika. The cuff title is black cloth with silver bullion edge trim and number 5. The coat is double breasted, with two sets of silver finished pebbled metal buttons. There are hip pockets with straight flaps. There is a belt in the back with the same style buttons. The tunic is partially lined in black cloth. There is a size tag, 50, with the size repeated in white stitched cloth at the top. The left side has a pocket which has a large oil cloth RZM tag reading “Mantel SS”. This is a size medium. A great example of a desirable coat!
