US WWII Ike Jacket for 104th ID T/5-This is produced in olive drab wool that is super clean. There are a very extremely tiny spots of discoloration only. There are two pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a four-button closure with an additional button/strap with snap at the waist. There are cinch straps at the waist. The left sleeve has a 104th Infantry Division patch plus a rank chevron for a T/5. Lower down on the left sleeve is a single stripe for 6 months of overseas service. The right sleeve has another chevron for the rank. There is a Ruptured Duck diamond above the right breast pocket. There were lapel pins at one point but those are missing. The interior is fully lined in olive brown cloth that is excellent. There are pockets on each side. The right side has a tag which lists the date of June 9, 1944, a size stamp of 36S and the tailor as Jacob Reed’s Sons. The lower right of the tunic has a laundry number, B1803 and the soldiers last name is identified by a note inside the pocket as “Bimler”. A great example!
