US WWII Ike Jacket, Owner Identified, 74th ID/3rd Army Enlisted Man-This is in great condition, produced in olive drab wool that is super clean. There are a few extremely tiny holes only. There are two pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a four-button closure with an additional button/strap with snap at the waist. There are cinch straps at the waist. The left sleeve has a 74th Infantry Division sleeve shield and beautiful gold bullion stripes for 2 years of overseas service. The right sleeve has a 3rd Army sleeve shield and a Meritorious Unit Citation patch. There is a Ruptured Duck diamond above the right breast pocket. There are ribbon bars for the Good Conduct Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the EAME Medal with four battle stars and the WWI Victory Medal with a single battle star. The interior is fully lined in olive brown cloth that is excellent. There are pockets on each side. The right side has a tag which lists the date of December 23, 1944, a size stamp of 38S and the tailor as T.D.M. Clothing Mfg. Corp. There is a laundry number stamped onto the interior. It reads “A-4384” The owners last name was “Auger”. Great condition!
