WWII German Kriegsmarine Summer Tunic and Trousers-This great set is for a signals 1st lieutenant. The tunic is produced in white heavy cotton. There is very minor discoloration only. There is a four-button closure and all buttons are the gilt finished anchor style. There are four pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. There are T type slip in shoulder boards with a bright silver flat wire face over dark navy blue badge cloth Each has a anchor button, a single gilt pip and a gilt finished signals lightning bolt. The breast eagle is a metal, gilt finished pin on style. The interior is unlined. There is an ink stamp with size information. It is a size medium. The trousers are the same white heavy cotton as the tunic. They are super clean with only a few tiny spots of discoloration. There are slash type hip pockets and a four button fly with a single button at the waist. There are cinch straps at the hips. There are buttons for the suspenders etc. The waist is a size 32 and these are 40” long. A great set!
