WWII German Motorcyclists Protective Great Coat-This is an unissued example that still retains the original manufacturers paper tag on the left sleeve. This reads “Lago für Schneider München” and “Tropen-Mantel”. It is produced in a tropical green shade of heavy cotton. There is a large vertical pocket on the right side plus two waist pockets with scalloped flaps. There is a strap for the single button closure with buttons also to hold the lapels in place. There are buttons and straps for a set of slip on shoulder boards. There is a built-in waist belt. There are adjustable cuffs. The interior is unlined. It is a large size. Excellent and scarce!
