German WWII SS-Sicherheitsdienst, SD Sturmmann Sew-In Shoulder Boards- The SD (Sicherheitsdienst) was a Nazi Party intelligence service. It was part of the SS (Schutzstaffel, Protection Squadron), an elite Nazi Party paramilitary organization that was under Heinrich Himmler’s control. These Stürmmann sew-on shoulder boards are in the 1942 pattern, and feature two strands of dual black rayon braiding with evenly spaced, bright, silver/aluminum "V"s to the outside braids and plain inner braids mounted on a Police green base. Very good condition!
