Rudolf Hess Hand Signed Note from Nürnberg Trials-Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess personally signed this note. It is part of a group that we were recently able to acquire which included a number of autographs from a guard at the Nuremburg Trials. The name of the guard was SFC George Wickham (RA 6667428) who served as a Military Police soldier. He stayed in the service and we have his 1951-2 personal calendar/diary which indicates he stayed in the service and in Korea sees considerable action. Wickham also wrote a note on the front of this piece of paper. It says:
"Rudolph (sic, missing the "Rudo") Hess-autograph. July 28-9:15 at.....(Hall) of Justice Nürmberg. Germany"
As you can see, the bottom left corner is partially missing. Otherwise great and the RAREST of RARE signatures!
