German Model 1919 Navy Dagger***STILL AVAILABLE***-This is a scarce example which is missing from most collections. It measures approx. 15 ¼ inches in length and has an unmarked blade. The fittings are all brass and includes the very detailed hammered scabbard which also has engraving on the rings. This is the example with the black celluloid handle which sometimes refer to as the “Navy in Mourning” dagger. This has a plain blade with no groove, which is beautifully nickel plated and is in outstanding condition. The locking mechanism works fine. This is complete with the properly tied silver bullion knot.
