German pre-WWII NCO Ordinance Sword-This is approx. 40” long and has a solid brass hilt. It has a black celluloid handle with double brass wire wrap. This was made by the firm of E&F Hörster and is profusely marked in several places. The anodized scabbard is in excellent condition with the finish virtually intact. The leather buffer is in place under the cross guard and the nickel-plated blade rates full excellent also. This has some writing in white paint on the reverse of the scabbard which I happen to believe is some type of a rack number. Overall, very fine example!
