German WWII SA Dagger by SMF-I am starting to think some of the nicest blades are made by SMF. This is an RZM example. The perfectly fitting brown wooden has no liabilities. The nickel-plated fittings on the cross guard and scabbard retain 90% of their finish. The SA runic button is in very good shape with good enamel. The nickel silver eagle is tightly in place and excellent. The scabbard paint is 95% intact. The blade is very good with factory cross graining evident. The motto “All for Germany” is quite prominent. The reverse of the blade shows the RZM motto, with the M7/9 and the date 1941, of course this is the contract number for SMF. (Solinger Metallwaffenfabrik Stoecker & Co.), Solingen. The blade does show some damage on the upper reverse part of the blade. Just above the RZM code, on the edge of the blade, you can see a defect. This really does not detract from the beauty of this dagger. Overall, it is in very good condition.
