German Pre-WWII Tinnie for an Area Day-This is a scarce offering, as this is a very special tinnie since this was the last event of this type prior to the war. The District Assembly of the NSDAP Wiesbaden was held on the 10th and 11th of June in 1939. This commemorative tinnie is constructed out of an injection molded white bakelite base. The round shaped features a closed winged national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, above a shield of Bierstadt, the Wiesbaden’s Coat of arms flanked by a laurel leaf and berry cluster and “10.u.11 Juni” and “1939”, all below an arched “Kreistag der NSAP Wiesbaden” at the very top. The back is beautifully marked with “RZM M9/25 for the maker Richard Sieper & Söhne Lüdenscheid”. In excellent condition.
