Third Reich Fire Protection Police Officer Visor Cap-This is produced in field grey cloth that is in very good condition, showing minor wear and discoloration mostly to the top panel. There is pink piping around the top panel as well as above and below the black badge cloth center band. There is some minor mothing to the piping. The insignia consists of a single piece, silver finished aluminum eagle and an aluminum cockade with red felt bulls eye. The chin cord is silver bullion with silver finished pebbled metal buttons. The vulkanfibre visor has minor fading only, the underside with cross hatching. The interior is fully lined in rayon which shows minor wear and discoloration from use. There is a large ink stamp of unknown origin. The diamond shaped moisture shield is fully intact. The leather sweatband is in good condition with a few small tears. It is a size 56. A great looking cap!
