WWII German SS Model 1942 Single Decal Helmet-This is a desirable piece, made even more desirable as it is by a rare maker, EF. The field grey combat finish remains 80% intact. The left side looks like it had something painted on it at some point. The right side has a fantastic EF sourced decal that remains 85% intact. The liner is well worn but mostly intact. There is a torn ear which is hanging by a thread. The drawstring is present but not fully connected. The zinc liner band is maker marked, dated 1943 and size stamped 66/58. The rear skirt is stamped EF 66 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 62. The rear skirt is also stamped with the steel lot number 3235. There is a section of the chinstrap remaining, it is the buckle side. A very good and desirable example!
