German Fire Police Model 1934 Double Decal Helmet-This is produced in lightweight steel and has a satin black finish that remains 92% intact. Each side of the helmet has a pair of salt and pepper shaker style ventilation grommets. The left side of the helmet has a bordered, lightly toned police decal that remains 80% intact. On the right side, there is a party shield that is also lightly toned and checks in at 85% remaining. This one originally had a comb but at some point, it was removed. It does retain its original, black leather neck flap. The size stamped 57 brown leather liner is in great condition, having just minor discoloration. There is a drawstring. There is a tan leather dome pad as well. This example retains its original, wide, brown leather chinstrap. It has some crazing and wear but is ok otherwise. The rear skirt is stamped “DRP Thale” and with a capital “A”. Near excellent overall!
