German WWII Model 38 Luftwaffe DAK Camo Paratrooper Helmet-Extremely sharp example with a solid 85% of a thick textured tan tropical paint in place over the original blue paint. This example has the first model spanner bolts, some of which still have some of the tropical paint intact. The exterior of this helmet is stunning! The size 57 liner is marked, along with the markings for the size of the shell which is 68. This has a wonderful combination of the gray neoprene pads combined with a white dome pad, which is normally associated with earlier helmets. The condition and the stampings on the liner itself are full excellent with only a small amount of normal wear. The gray leather harness shows moderate wear, one of the side traps have been deliberately cut and the end piece on the adjustment strap is missing. This is visible in the photos that we have provided. The side of the shell is marked ET68 and the batch number in the rear of the skirt is 77. Recently purchased from an advanced collection.
