WWII German Army Model 1942 Single Decal Helmet-This combat example has a field grey finish that remains 75% intact. The toned army decal on the left side shows some wear, checking in at 40% intact. The size stamped 57 liner is tan pigskin and it is pretty clean, with minor wear only. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. One of the tabs is broken on one of the split rivets holding the band in place, this is not an issue as the liner is still very tight inside the shell. The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with a lot number but it is very hard to read. The chinstrap is mostly missing, just a small chunk is left. An as found example!
