1915 Dated Bavarian Dress Uniform for NCO-This is the rarer issue type Kammerstuck and it is regimentally marked plus dated 1915 which is unusual for a blue uniform. It has sewn in shoulder boards for the 6th Infantry Regiment “Kaiser Wilhelm, King of Prussia”. They were attached to the 12th Infantry Brigade of the Bavarian Army. Their peacetime location was Amberg. It is produced in blue wool that is in fine condition for its age. There is an eight-button closure and all buttons are brass. The collar, French cuffs and cuff bands are red badge cloth. The closure seam is piped in red. The stand up collar is trimmed in thick gold NCO tresse at the front and upper edges. Same for the cuffs, while the cuff bands are piped in gold cloth. The boards have the regimental cipher machine embroidered in gold. The tail is piped in red and there are ramp type buttons for a belt. The interior is lined in black and white cloth. There is minor wear and discoloration. It is well marked. It is a size medium. A very good example!
