1st Pattern SA/SS Standard Bearer’s Gorget-This is a very good example which looks like it was cleaned at some point as it is quite shiny. The nickel-plated shield shaped plate has some light discoloration and extremely fine scratches. The roundel and starburst in the center have a beautiful patina. These were used by both the SA and the SS flag bearers early on. The reverse has a blue badge cloth covering, which is in good condition but is a bit loose. The large RZM button on the reverse is present. This is complete with a full-length chain that is excellent. One end is fixed while the other is free, mounted on a tab. A second tab in the center of the reverse has number 87 stamped onto it. Near excellent!
