6th Chevaulegers Regiment (Prinz Albrecht von Preussen) Private Purchase NCO Tunic-This is a private purchase, named, tailor made example produced in steel green wool that is a very high quality. It is in good overall condition, with some minor tracking, a few holes and some spots of discoloration. This is double breasted with two rows of six silver finished buttons. A seventh button is on each side way up by the collar for buttoning the lapel open or closed. The closure seams are piped in pink. The stand-up collar is pink badge cloth with green piping and wide metallic NCO tresse. The Swedish cuffs are pink with silver buttons and wide NCO tresse. The sew in shoulder boards are pink badge cloth with silver buttons. The tail is piped in pink with silver buttons. There are loops at each shoulder and under the collar. The interior is lined in off white and black cloth. There are a few repairs to go along with minor wear and discoloration/staining. There is a single pocket on the left side with a tailor tag. The name of the owner is there along with the date 1911. The name of the soldier was Karl Heinrich Nürnberger and he was born 3 May 1889 (close to the Führers birthday!). A copy of his service record is included. He reached the rank of Leutnant der Reserve and was wounded 3 times. A good example overall!
