Bildchronik der rheinisch-westfalischen 126. Infanterie-Division, 1940-1945 by Gunter Braake-This is an illustrated Chronicle of the Rhenish-Westphalian 126th Infantry Division during the years 1944 through 1945. This 192-page hardcover book is chock full of black and white photos of the 126th. These photos are all nicely captioned in German. This book has an excellent dustcover. The pages are clean, and the book is damage free. The 126th Infantry was formed on 18 October 1940 in Sennelager. This division was formed from elements of the 11th Infantry Division, 253rd Infantry Division and the non-motorized elements of the 16th Motorized Infantry Division. They fought at Demyansk, Staraya Russia and Leningrad before ending the war in the Courland Pocket. This book is like new and an interesting look into this division.
