British World War I Combat Helmet-This is referred to as Mark I. It has about 90% of the brown combat paint intact. The liner appears to be around a size 57, there are numerous markings on the interior of the shell. The liner itself is made of a black oil cloth material and is complete with the webbing and the felt liner associated with these types of helmets. It has its original brown leather chinstrap which shows moderate to heavy use and is broken in the center.
