British WWII Leather Jerkin-This style of garment was worn by many British soldiers during WWII. Unlike the earlier ones, these have bakelite buttons. The brown leather is extremely soft and the jerkin is lined in green wool. It is listed on the large interior tag as “Jerkins, Leather No. 2 Camouflaged. Size 2 means medium. It was produced in September of 1944. There is a four-button closure. Excellent condition!
