Cased German WWII Prague Castle Bar for Czech Annexation- We just don’t see these cool little awards very often. This one is in mint condition. For those of you who have never seen one of these, the Prague Castle Bar was for those who had participated in both the occupation of the Sudetenland and the annexation of Bohemia and Moravia in March of 1939. This small golden bar features the Prague Castle on the obverse with two triangular prongs in the back. The bar is very small, it measures 3cm long by 1cm wide, or 1 ¼ inches long by ½ inch wide and meant to be attached to the ribbon on a Czech annexation award. There is some light rusting to the reverse, but the front is clean and excellent. The small red leatherette case measure 1 ¾ inches square or 4mm square. It is in very good condition, though it does show some light wear. The bottom of the inside is a dark burgundy flocking, with a nice red silk top. The clasp works perfectly. This is a scarce offering and in near excellent condition.
