Commemorative Badge of the “Steel Helmet” Organization (Traditions-Abzeichen des “Stahlhelm”)-Founded in December 1918, the “Stahlhelm” was incorporated into the SA in July 1933. In November 1933, members were authorized to wear these membership badges of their organization on their uniforms. This pin back was produced by Stahlhof of Magdeburg and bears the image of the “Stahlhelm”, a raised helmet with an Iron Cross and “Der Stahlhelm” impressed on it, on a black enamel background. Below that are two oak leaves and the year of admission, in this example 1932. The reverse is stamped with the manufacturers symbol, as well as with “ges.gesch”. This issued example is produced in 935 silver. Etched into the reverser is "V. WM. 67" and the date 4.11.32. Excellent condition!
