Early SA Dagger by Adolf Volker-A Sound example with all of the characteristics associated with an early production such as solid nickel crossguard, anodized scabbard, and Gruppe mark on the lower reverse crossguard. The unit is marked Sa for Sachaen. This is a sound example where the fittings are in excellent and uncleaned condition. The handle fit is perfect with no damage to the handle. There appears to be loss to some to the finish on the handle. The anodizing on the scabbard is about 10% intact, however, there is no damage or pitting to the scabbard. The blade is in good only condition with what appears to be a slight sharpening at the tip along with the other light grind marks throughout the blade. The Adolf Volker trademark is very clear. This is complete as I found it, with its original short unmarked early leather strap, and another long brown leather strap for attaching to the tunic. Overall good condition.
