Early Third Reich era General's Private Purchase Breeches for Doctor-This pair of breeches is in excellent condition, being produced in smooth field grey wool. There are one or two absolutely tiny moth nips only. There are tied leg closures. The bright red badge cloth stripes are excellent. There are buttoned hip pockets and a watch fob pocket (no rear pocket). There are cinch straps at each hip with plated metal buckles. There is a five button fly with a hook and loop closure at the waist. The buttons for the suspenders are present. The interior has grey cloth pocket bags and reinforcements. There is a large tailor tag stitched to the interior. The tailor was N. Heidenreich & Sohne der Reithosenschneider, Potsdam, München which was located on Briennerstrasse. The name on the tag is Herrn Oberfeldarzt Dr. Wolkewitz and the date is 3.12.34. He must have received his promotion and had the generals striping added to these pants. There is some information on the net about a Dr. Wolkewitz so check it out! The waist is a size 36 and the legs are 40" in length. Excellent!
